Founder & Managing Member

David brings 40 years of diverse experience in the construction industry. His career spans:

  • Sub-contractor and General Contractor roles
  • Superintendent and Project Manager positions
  • Estimating and Owner’s Representative responsibilities

Having worked in the field, in offices, and as an owner, David understands the critical importance of thorough and accurate takeoffs and estimates for project success and profitability.

Credentials and Education

David Varner’s educational background includes:

  • East Carolina University – Construction Management, Minor in Business Administration
  • Wake Technical Community College – Associate of Science in Architectural Technology
  • Certificate in Auto-CAD

Professional Accreditations

  • LEED AP – Recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council for expertise in sustainable construction and indoor environmental quality
  • AIC Associate Constructor (AIC AC) – Completed a comprehensive exam covering Estimating, Critical Path Method Scheduling, Communications, Ethics, and advanced construction knowledge
  • Sigma Lambda Chi – Member of the international honor society for Construction Management
